13 Best Camping Affiliate Programs (Big Payouts!)

They say that our species evolved into being millions of years ago. Can you imagine yourself living in such a time? Imagine if you, with your mind, heart, and body, way back then.

Perhaps you are doubtful of your chances of survival in such a case. I know I am for myself! It must have been hard spending each of your living moments foraging for food without any of your own.

Always rolling the dice with each meal. Having to seek out and create your own shelter, and so on. They also say that good things are never easy, don’t they?

I think camping is something that is very hard and requires a ton of work. I genuinely love to do it anyway.

There are few things more fulfilling than planning, collecting, and taking all your supplies, carrying them with your friends, and hiking to hidden spots that we have personally discovered.

Climbing mountains always makes you think of great achievements. That’s because all the effort is worth the reward.

The challenge makes you feel alive; it scratches some primordial itch deep inside you, spurring you onward with inspiration!

I think it’s safe to say that eco-tourism will be on the rise as time goes on. As more people spend time working in cubicles and exercising in metallic gyms, they will long for that primal connection.

I don’t need to tell you how big the camping industry is, I’m sure you would agree that there are only two kinds of people:

  • Those who dream of buying a yacht.
  • And others who dream of buying an RV!

If any of this resonates with you, take a good look at this list of opportunities that can help you make money with this rugged activity.

1. Ripstop by the Roll Affiliate Program

Let’s start off with a really cool company for creators and entrepreneurs. I have seen a ton of companies online by now, maybe around three hundred, but I’ve never seen one quite like this.

Ripstop by the Roll is a place where anyone can buy supplies, fabrics, and other materials for all kinds of DIY projects.

It was started because small-time creators only had access to boring materials, while the big companies got all the good customized stuff.

While it is perfect for B2B, they also sell small quantities to individuals. And they really do sell all the good stuff one might need to make all kinds of products, especially camping gear.

Camping is a very specific activity. Everyone has a specific taste, a unique locale, and special needs. My friends and I always barbequed, so we needed to carry a lot of kitchen tools and ingredients.

Nothing is more satisfying than making your own gear; plus, you could sell it on a big scale afterward!

Let’s take a look at their affiliate program now. Affiliates stand to make a six percent commission on all their sales within a thirty-day referral window.

They will also get one-on-one support, updates, promo things, and real-time product feeds. Sounds like a fully-fledged offering for you!

The company has a huge network of the best suppliers, outstanding customer service, and excellent unique products. They even sell DIY kits for campers. Those who love to camp might really enjoy making their own gear, too.

I really cool and unique option for sure. Consider it for the value added to your offerings rather than just the potential earnings.

2. Life In Tents Affiliate Program

You can’t have a proper camping experience without a proper tent. This company makes no ordinary tent, though.

Life in Tents is all about Glamping. (Glamourous x Camping) If you haven’t heard of this before, welcome to the club.

Do you know that archetypical image of a western tiger hunter in a tropical forest? All pimped out in Khaki gear, maybe a red scarf and a mustache. The one who gets a mini-mansion hauled out there with him on the backs of cheap labor.

That’s basically Glamping. Camping in luxury and comfort. Being nature while enjoying modern ingenuity. The best of both worlds.

Life in Tents makes some really cool, high-tech, durable, and classy stuff. If you know a bunch of people that love to live a lavish life but also to get their hands dirty occasionally, then there is potential here.

If you do know such people, consider yourself lucky because they are very rare.

Anyway, their affiliate program offers a boring six percent rate with a thirty-day cookie window. But their average order value is a very exciting $1,600.

If you have experience with closing high-ticket deals, and if you can really sell these, what are you waiting for?

3. Ruffwear Affiliate Program

There’s this one YouTube channel I really love called MenWithThePot. Basically, a dude goes out to cook in nature in every video. The recipes are great, the gear is elite, and the video is crisply edited.

But the best part of the channel is the fact that the guy always takes his doggy with him. You can see him/her taking it all in and chilling in the background.

Makes me want to get a dog and move away to such a place. There’s nothing better than just being able to bring your dog along on your outdoor trips, but it can be dangerous.

That’s where Ruffwear comes in. They make high-quality and resistant performance gear for canines.

So stuff like paw protectors, top-grade support leashes, and buoyant little life jackets for your furry babies can be bought here.

The affiliate program offers you an okayish commission rate of eight percent with a standard thirty-day cookie duration and an AOV of around eighty-five dollars.

This one is pretty niche downed, so you should know immediately if it’s a right fit or not.

4. Mountain Warehouse GB Affiliate Program

As an affiliate marketer, you need to understand the many ways in which you can make money with a certain thing.

For instance, people spend a lot of money camping on things that aren’t necessarily directly related to the activity itself.

They spend on travel and transportation. They pay a dog sitter to take care of things at home, and so on. Similarly, this company sells clothing and apparel that is typical of a great outdoor experience.

Most camping is done in the natural wilderness of hardy mountains, out of reach from man’s greedy grip. It tends to be pretty chilly up there too.

Mountain Warehouse also makes apparel and gear, especially for hiking and camping. Learn to think of the many things people spend on and never run out of opportunities to make money.

This one offers a pretty standard affiliate program as well:

  • Eight Percent Commissions with thirty days of user tracking.
  • Great range of exclusive products with outstanding reviews.
  • Multi Linguistic affiliate support team.
  • Regular offers, promotions, and all the necessary marketing materials.

All in all, a pretty good option.

5. Tentsile Affiliate Program

I really love this company’s work. You can really tell that they are true tree lovers. That’s because Tentsile makes tents that are tree huggers themselves!

We’ve all seen the typical tent. It comes with a ton of rods, strings, and wires, and it has to be set up on hard and uncomfortable ground. Not to mention all the creepy crawlies lurking around.

Well, Tentsile Tree Tents (as in high-tensile) and Hammocks are the perfect alternatives. You can tie these securely to trees at any height you’d prefer!

Hanging up in the air is so comfy… It’s like you’re floating in the air, like a cloud in the wind. Plus, this company is seriously committed to ethical trade practices.

They treat their employees well, they manufacture responsibly, and all the products are sustainably-made.

Their affiliate program offers you a decent ten percent commission rate. You can also choose to take a five percent commission and offer a five percent discount to your audience, which is very much appreciated.

6. iKamper Affiliate Program

Speaking of alternative ways to the tent, have you ever wanted an RV but didn’t want to break the bank? Who am I kidding? Obviously, you have.

Well, iKamper has some really cool options for you! They sell all kinds of camping supplies, from trunks and bags to jackets and portable kitchen solutions.

Their flagship is their “Roof Top Tent,” which can be set up safely right on top of your car! They have a ton of really cool designs for all kinds of vehicles, and I must admit, those tents look cool as hell.

They’ve got built-in ladders and everything. Plus, they’re just a really smart and efficient way to create better impromptu outdoor experiences. It’s common to decide on a picnic on a dime based on good weather, after all.

This affiliate program offers you a solid ten percent commission with a good thirty-day cookie duration. Considering the AOV is great at around $1500+, this could be one of your own flagship affiliate programs!

If you know that a lot of adult-employed folks visit your online handles, please don’t sleep on this one. Even a single sale can potentially earn you a respectable $150.

7. Osprey Affiliate Program

The most powerful thing about this company is that it was built upon the belief that adventure is open to everyone and that it can be found anywhere. Gives me goosebumps, just thinking about that.

Osprey’s founder, Mike Pfotenhauer, started making handmade backpacks at the young age of sixteen. He meticulously made well-fitted products and sold them right outside his home in California.

That was the 70s. Since then, the company has grown and evolved. But one thing never changed: each product was directed, tested, and approved by Mike himself. Each bag has passed through his hands.

That’s cool as hell, man.

About the affiliate program, this one offers an eight percent commission with a thirty-day cookie duration. An average order costs $150+ here.

They also regularly launch new products, host offers, and promotions, and offer a lifetime guarantee on their entire catalog. Osprey has a loyal base of customers, and Backbone Media manages its affiliate support.

8. Campingmaxx.com Affiliate Program

Finally, a one-stop shop for all things camping! Campingmaxx.com is a Texas-based website started by three siblings in 1972 when they were just fifteen years old.

All these young entrepreneurs with full-on companies today are so inspiring! Please excuse me for a moment while I remind myself that it’s never too late to start from scratch.

They only wanted to make a small store as a summer project, but within three years, their website became a full-on camping marketplace, with around 75% of all major companies selling products related to camping.

Shoes, tents, fuel, equipment, apparel, or emergency supplies, you name it, they’ve got it.

Their affiliate program offers a ten percent commission rate for each sale made through your unique affiliate link. They have not mentioned literally anything else about it, though.

Check this out if you’re in and around Texas for sure.

9. Park Holidays UK Affiliate Program

Park Holidays UK is in the business of creating exceptional holiday experiences for people. The company owns over fifty holiday parks across England, many of which are at breathtaking coastal locations.

Whether you have your own RV or not, or if you just enjoy hiking casually, camping does need a dedicated space. That’s why these parks are so popular.

Besides renting out the space, they also offer caravans and holiday homes. They even create vacation packages, camping tours, and short breaks like hikes by collaborating with other businesses for transport.

Their affiliate program offers a basic four percent commission with a thirty-day cookie duration. You can earn additional bonuses and incentives for good performance on top of that.

These things can cost a pretty penny, so four percent isn’t bad at all. Plus, the company offers you a great selection of creatives for promoting seasonal options popular in Southern UK.

10. CampSaver Affiliate Program

They say that it’s very important to niche down as a publisher doing affiliate marketing. The smaller the niche, the higher the margins, with easier conversions.

That’s a good rule of thumb, but every rule is meant to be broken, isn’t it?

These massive retail stores can be great for consumers to get all their needs fulfilled in one place. The last one at #8 seems like a small player in front of this one.

For one, CampSaver has a much better-looking website. Then they’ve taken it further by including running, mountain climbing, and similar outdoor activities in their catalog of products.

This can be better than niching down, as you can catch more flies with a bigger mouth. Not my best analogy, but I hope you got it.

This affiliate program comes with a dedicated affiliate manager; that’s the first one on this list so far! It can also earn you a ten percent commission per sale with a thirty-day cookie duration.

A good option to increase your legitimacy with your audience.

11. Camp Chef Affiliate Program

One of the biggest things that we all have in common: We all need to eat. Most of us really enjoy it. Many people even travel great distances just for food.

There is something very special about camp food as well. Barbeque might be delicious, but it is also inherently communal. It’s something that connects a whole group of people.

That’s why I’ve added Camp Chef to the list, a company that’s all about outdoor cooking. Whether it’s in your home’s backyard for a family barbeque or a small stove at the campsite, there are a ton of options here.

You’ve got grills, smokers, stoves, and more. The website also has recipes and blogs for more support. They also sell branded merch on the side.

Camp Chef’s affiliate program has kept everything about the program under wraps. But as you can see on their website through the link below, we can be sure that it does, in fact, exist.

Their website looks very attractive, and their products seem dope. I sense a big potential for conversions here. Why not give it a try?

12. Campground Views Affiliate Program

I would say that this company is actually working to solve the biggest challenge against camping: Finding a good spot to do it.

Campground Views has stated its mission in simple words: They want to make it easier for people to go outside. Their online platform is built to do just that.

Its search engine comprises thousands of campgrounds and RV parks and has information on over sixteen thousand locations. Not bad, you could say.

Some customers have even called their data collection, format, and updating methodology nothing short of genius. Apparently, they have some way of knowing how busy any place is in real time.

What more do you need? In terms of products, they organize and offer tours, hikes, and things of that sort. That’s what I understood anyway.

The affiliate program offers a decent twenty-five percent commission with a great sixty-day cookie duration and an okayish AOV of around $100.

13. Backcountry Affiliate Program

Backcountry is a camping store that was built with a vision to provide the best outdoor gear and to be the best at doing it. They are still committed to this vision today.

The website looks brilliant, and the company believes in putting its customers first. Active lifestyles are deeply tied to this one. Even their headquarters is placed in the middle of a popular cycling track.

They deal in everything from cycling and running to apparel, mountain climbing, and even water sports. Obviously, they deal in camping and hiking equipment as well.

I love the company’s logo, too, a stoic-looking mountain goat. Have you ever seen those things climb!? It’s a miraculous talent, IMO.

If you join this affiliate program, you can start by earning a four percent commission rate per sale with a thirty-day cookie duration, and the commissions will increase with sale volume, all the way up to twelve percent!

Conclusion

Camping gear tends to be very, very functional. That itself makes it pretty costly. Beyond that, people will always push the envelope and make better tents, bags, and cooking equipment.

You might see that camping equipment is either 100% functional and minimalistic, which makes it in the affordable range, or it’s durable, high-tech, and high-quality, which makes it extremely expensive.

This leaves a smaller margin for profits and comparatively lesser sales. That is the major reason why most companies in this niche offer very minimal commissions.

The high-ticket program on #5 by Tentsile is my personal favorite on this list. The other programs just don’t seem worth my while otherwise.

By the way, it seems fair to me that an outdoor activity like this is less than ideal for an indoor activity like affiliate marketing.

You’ll notice that we didn’t even add RVs to this list. That’s because we’ve done an article on RVs before! Check it out here.
